As many of you know Wyatt Revell of Atlantic, Virginia was involved in a serious vehicle accident on Friday, September 1st as he was on his way to do his favorite thing, hunting. This accident left him in the Salisbury hospital for a couple of days while he waited for a bed in Baltimore shock trauma. Wyatt suffered multiple broken ribs, and a horrible cut on his knee that required surgical repair. He was finally able to get a bed at Baltimore shock trauma Monday September 4th, which was followed by a 7-hour facial reconstructive surgery on Tuesday. Wyatt is such a lucky young man with several people by his side who love him dearly. His passion for hunting and fishing is out of this world. We have decided to have a fundraiser to help him out with medical expenses, travel expenses, and whatever else comes his way with follow up surgeries and travel expenses to rehab for his knee, but mainly to keep his spirits high during this difficult time.
Food, drinks, and more will be available at this event! There will be an auction with several different items, from several decoys from well-known local carvers to oyster cans, paintings, and so much more! We are reaching out to the community for donations of any kind that we can add to the auction. As we are in the early stages of still pulling this fun-filled day together for Wyatt, there will be much more information to come! I will post pictures of donated auction items as well.
