Once upon a time, a talkative young girl walked into a radio station on a whim. With a lifelong passion for music and a knack for quip and hyperbole, Radio seemed like a natural fit!
Way back then, before YouTube and social media a gal had to prove herself on the fly and in the trenches. As luck, or fate, or Providence would have it; a certain Radio legend saw promise and gave her a shot!
On that day, seventeen years ago Kate Michaels was born!
Almost two decades later; that talkative “young girl” has crossed paths with many legends and icons, learning and growing every step of the way.
Two decades of loving music, connecting with community, and -Hopefully – bringing a smile have been a tremendous joy!
